Due to ongoing growth, our client requires an additional dynamic sales person with experience in the sale of tiles, stone, mosaic, porcelain, bench tops. 

People with wholesale selling experience outside of this product range but with networks including builders, developers, architects, interior designers should also apply - key requirement is dynamic self accountability and past successful experience.

A drivers license is essential as is high communication skills. This position deals with people at all levels and needs to be able to establish and maintain meaningful relationships that lead to profitable sales.

This is not a 'first job from school' position - applicants must be able to demonstrate appropriate experience

  SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

To increase sales of products and provide customer service for established clients - builders, developers, architects, interior designers and other industry decision-makers and influencers, with a primary focus on personal selling activity.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

To achieve set individual sales targets. 

To achieve consumer and commercial/trade customer sales contact targets set. 

To achieve targets for the completion of consumer quotations/proposals for products.

To maintain & develop relationships with key decision-makers within designated sales areas.

To complete territory management planning and implementation of plans for designated territories.  

To implement a planned approach to prospecting.

To ensure the development and maintenance of an appropriate contact database.

To maintain appropriate records of all sales contacts.

To ensure good communication and regular liaison with internal sales staff.

To complete routine reports on weekly sales activities in a timely fashion. 

To achieve targets in the reporting of competitor retail and trade price points and other market intelligence.

To maintain all company equipment as appropriate.

To carry out any special projects as agreed with Management.

To ensure that the incumbent’s level of product and technical knowledge is of an appropriate standard.

To undertake and complete staff development and training programs as agreed with Management.

To ensure that all activities are in compliance with the practices and philosophies of the company.

To ensure that all activities are in compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements of the industry in which the company operates.
